After extensive development with Fortune Auto, Professional Awesome is proud to offer front coilovers for the ZE1 first-generation Honda Insight. Significant effort was invested in selecting appropriate spring rates and damper valving to deliver improved ride quality while maintaining a responsive, sports-car feel for these lightweight hybrids.

Fortune Auto Generation 8 – 500 Series Dampers
The Fortune Auto 500 Series (Generation 8) is a single-adjustable monotube coilover system featuring their High Flow Digressive Piston. This design provides strong low-speed damping control for roll, dive, and squat, while remaining compliant over high-speed road inputs.
Each set is custom-built, dyno-tested, and fully rebuildable.

Daily Driving
The digressive piston design allows precise chassis control without excessive harshness, making the 500 Series suitable for street-driven vehicles that require both comfort and responsiveness.
Occasional Track Use
Increased low-speed compression and rebound damping improves driver input control during braking, cornering, and acceleration. At higher shaft speeds (bumps and surface irregularities), damping force tapers appropriately to maintain compliance and grip.

If you have a k-swap (or worn out oem suspension on the stock engine) you absolutely need these. I sat on these waiting to install after my k-swap for about 3 months before I installed, which is by far the worst decision I made throughout the entire swap. I should have immediately installed them because they completely transform the car and actually give confidence with this chassis (especially with the k in the car). Install was straightforward, and the parts scream quality. Again, my only regret with these is I wish I would have installed sooner since they completely transform the car. Mike and the PA team were great to work with and responsive to any questions or order updates associated with them. 10/10 would buy again and am waiting on them to make a matching rear set.
