Customer notes
I just replaced the factory splitter support rods on my 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca with your rods. The car has a factory, customer-installed splitter. Yours worked out perfectly, even in a factory-replacement scenario. Absolutely perfect—the quality is amazing, and the racecar parts look so much better.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the upper mounts, as they are completely recessed into the black plastic trim around the radiator opening. The car was built for splitter support rods, so no modifications were needed to get these installed. I never had to remove the trim or the bumper skin.
I am using your standard 5/16-24 clevis on the top. The threaded hole in the bumper for the stock splitter is 1/4-20, not metric. Using a double-ended stud—5/16-24 on one end and 1/4-20 on the other—it threads right into the factory threaded hole.
